About Me

About Corrina

Growing up, I was immersed in the world of auctions, cultivating a deep-seated passion for sales from a young age.

At just ten years old, I embarked on entrepreneurial endeavors, loading my red radio flyer with garden-fresh vegetables and canvassing the nearby apartment complex until every last item was sold. Accompanied by my mother, I frequented local auction houses, captivated by the theatrics of the auctioneer and the spirited competition among bidders. Witnessing the strategic exchanges and exhilarating moments of bidding frenzy left an indelible impression on me.

In 2005, fueled by my love for selling and fascination with antiques and vintage merchandise, I established The Antique Emporium in Oswego, NY. Spanning multiple levels and encompassing over 10,000 square feet, this antique co-op provided a platform for dealers to showcase their wares, while I curated my own collection. Four years at the helm of this venture enriched my expertise and understanding of the industry.

In June 2012, recognizing the importance of formal training, I attended the Texas Auction Academy, now known as America’s Auction Academy, with aspirations of launching my own auction enterprise. The fruition of this endeavor occurred on November 19, 2012, with the inception of McEwen Auction Company. Hosting both in-house auctions and facilitating on-site business and estate liquidations, I soon diversified into online auctions, pioneering the integration of real-time bidding between in-house and online participants. This innovative approach not only broadened the reach of our auctions but also significantly augmented the final sale prices of items, distinguishing our company within the central New York area.

In April 2014, I lent my expertise to a landmark event in our region's auction history—the "Mystery Mansion" auction—overseeing the meticulous cataloging, online auction setup, logistical coordination, and marketing efforts. The resounding success of this auction, which garnered substantial participation from online bidders nationwide, underscored the efficacy of my strategies and contributed to a considerable uptick in revenue.

Now, I am embarking on a new chapter in Santa Fe, NM, driven by an unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional service tailored to the unique needs of my clientele.

I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to collaborate with you.

Warm regards,
